My name is Veronika, and I find joy in fulfilling the meaning of my name, happy to be a bearer of victory :) My life mission was shaped by the unique path I have traveled. My connection with therapy was likely prepared from early childhood traumas :) but I consciously embarked on this path when I became the mother of a son with Down syndrome. His presence in my life opened the doors to the world of social therapy and led me to discover the deeper meaning of human connection and support.
Originally, I worked in business, but my heart longed for greater depth and meaningfulness. Therefore, I decided to study social pedagogy from the perspective of anthroposophy. This path opened new horizons for me and brought me to an understanding of the importance of an individual approach to each person.
I further devoted myself to studying social work with a focus on psychotherapy, along with Daseinsanalysis experiential psychotherapeutic training, which enabled me to deepen my understanding of human psyche and emotional processes. I then applied these insights in practice as a social therapist. I expanded my experience with several years of work in a kindergarten, where I acquired valuable skills in working with children who needed more intensive care and attention. However, the deepest self-experience came with motherhood, the long-term care of my large family, and getting through all the necessary crises.
When I encountered hippotherapy in 2012 after the birth of my son Tomáš, I had no idea about working with horses. I was always fascinated by these majestic creatures and they evoked immense respect in me. It was only working at C. H. Miracle that brought me so close to them that I couldn’t say goodbye even after a several-year break. Working with horses as part of the therapeutic process not only fulfilled me professionally but also personally.
Over the years, I have worked with various age groups of clients, from families with disabled children to adults who decided to explore self-experiential work with a horse. Each interaction with clients brings me new insights and strengthens my conviction in the power and value of therapeutic work.
Today, I feel blessed to be able to combine my knowledge, skills, and passion into a single meaningful whole, which is social therapy. Every day fills me with joy from the opportunity to help people discover their inner potential and live a fulfilling life.
